3M 314D is a universal sanding tool for sanding metal and wood by hand or with an orbital sander. The highly flexible cloth backing, which can be torn in all directions, makes it particularly suitable for applications on moulded or profiled workpieces. It can be used both by hand and on machines.

This file is used in particular for processing tools in the wood and machine industry. The different grit sizes allow you to customise your tool to suit your application. Silicon carbide files are mainly used for carbide or carbide-tipped tools and have a grey-green colour. Orange coloured files are mainly used for all types of steel and stainless steel.
