3M Scotch-Weld Structural Adhesive for Nylon DP8910NS is a black, non-flowing, non-flammable, 2-part, viscoplastic, acrylic-based structural adhesive that provides structural adhesion to polyamides (nylon) without the need for extensive plasma or flame surface treatment. The 8910 adhesive also provides excellent bond strength to aluminium, stainless steel and other metals commonly bonded to plastic surfaces. This structural adhesive offers good resistance to high and low temperatures, humidity and salt spray environments. The adhesive is fast curing and achieves handling strength quickly while providing excellent flexibility and impact resistance.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
