3M Scotch-Weld 2216 B/A is a flexible 2-component construction adhesive based on epoxy resin. The product with a very long working time is UL-listed and is characterised by high shear strength and high peel strength. Scotch-Weld 2216 B/A was developed for bonding plastics such as GRP, elastomers, rubber as well as metals, glass, ceramics, wood, etc.

The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
