3M Scotch-Weld 3779 is a polyamide-based hotmelt adhesive. The product with 100% solids content is UL-listed, petrol and oil resistant and is particularly suitable for applications in the electrical and electronics industry. The hot melt adhesive also impresses with its excellent shear strength and good peel strength as well as its very high temperature resistance up to 150°C. Scotch-Weld 3779 is used, for example, for potting electrical / electronic components on printed circuit boards.

The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
