Scotch Adhesive Tape 8956 is a standard filament adhesive tape with a backing made of biaxially oriented ScotchPro polypropylene film (BOPP) and a synthetic rubber adhesive (solvent-free). The glass fibre reinforcement significantly increases the tear resistance of the adhesive tape. The polypropylene film has good abrasion and moisture resistance.

3M Tartan Filament Adhesive Tape 8954 is a longitudinally and cross-reinforced standard filament adhesive tape with a ScotchPro polypropylene film backing and a synthetic rubber adhesive. The glass fibre reinforcement in the longitudinal direction significantly increases the tear resistance of the tape. The tape is particularly suitable for bonding heavy cardboard packaging and as a securing and bundling tape. Once applied, the adhesive tape retains its functionality at all temperatures to which a package is normally exposed during transport and storage. It is ideal for hazardous goods transport packaging and is characterised by its high breaking load (1350 N / 100 mm) and elongation at break (10). The tape is also highly resistant to abrasion and moisture. Colour of the tape: transparent. Dimensions: 50 mm x 50 m.

The transparent ScotchPro BOPP backing offers very good resistance to abrasion and moisture. The adhesive has been specially formulated for the packaging sector.
