The white Scotch insulating tape is the ideal insulating tape for power cables and other wires. It consists of a particularly flexible PVC film with a high degree of elasticity, which also adapts perfectly to uneven surfaces. It is easy to unwind and adheres without great contact pressure. In addition to electrical insulation, it can be used to secure loose cables, protect stressed cable sheaths or for colour coding. The insulating tape adheres reliably at temperatures from 0°C to 90°C. It is flame retardant and offers protection against electrical voltages of up to 6,000 volts. The Scotch insulating tape is VDE tested and certified in accordance with IEC standard 454-3-1. The packaging contains a roll of white insulating tape measuring 15 mm x 10 m.
