Our 3M Scotchcal high-gloss films 7755-420 Chrome and 7755-431 Gold are UV-resistant mirror films that are also suitable for outdoor use on signs and for vehicle labelling. Thanks to their polyester backing, they can be processed easily and reliably using cold and hot stamping processes in addition to processing on roll or flatbed plotters. Reverse side application behind glass is also possible with both variants. The colour appearance on the back is the same as on the front. If the adhesive side is visible, machine application (with heat if necessary) or wet application is recommended (observe drying times!). Metal vapour-deposited, cast PVC film (70 µm), solvent-based adhesive (permanent). Functional life up to 10 years. Can be applied wet, thermoformable (observe data sheet!). Glossy surface. Recommended transfer tapes: SCPM-19 (large formats), SCPS-100 (small formats).

Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
