The 3M Scotchcal 3690 series printing films are versatile cast films for indoor and outdoor advertising graphics and vehicle labelling. They are equipped with a special acrylic adhesive that achieves excellent adhesion on surfaces that are difficult to stick to, such as rough and porous surfaces, hammer finishes and low-energy plastics (e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene). The films are dimensionally stable and resistant to weathering. Series 3690 is therefore suitable for applications with the highest demands on durability and load-bearing capacity.

The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
