Product information "3M Scotchcast 4 GS C, casting resin, 370 ml"

In contrast to conventional casting resins for cable accessories, Scotchcast 4 GS epoxy resin is a CMR-free casting resin. It therefore contains no carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic substances. The resin is characterised by reduced heat development compared to other epoxy resins and is insensitive to water during storage, curing and use (hydrolytically stable). The popular transparent two-chamber bag contains a predetermined amount of resin and hardener, which can be mixed quickly to form ready-to-use casting resin and is supplemented by an innovative colour indicator that shows exactly when the mixing and curing process is complete. This makes the installation process even more transparent and user-friendly. The 3M Scotchcast 4 GS epoxy resin is used for the insulation and mechanical protection of low-voltage cable connections.
