3M Acrylic Foam adhesive tape made from a grey medium density acrylic foam. Typical applications include attachment of add-on parts such as bumpers, mouldings, emblems etc. GT6008 has good adhesion to a wide range of automotive surfaces, good internal strength, excellent long-term stability and very good conformability to the surfaces to be bonded. The uniform viscoelastic properties of GT6008 provide excellent stress relief in the bonded joint, resulting in extremely durable bonds.

The  surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
