The 3M Scotchlok tap connectors turn a through connection into a branch connection with just one movement. Simply plugged onto the matching Scotchlok connectors, they are suitable for all applications in installation, control, measurement and regulation technology where a pluggable electrical branch connection is desired or required. This makes installation much easier, particularly in switchgear construction and automotive electrics. With a cross-sectional area of between 0.5 and 3.0 square millimetres, they also enable connections to be made to uncut conductors. The Scotchlok connectors are available in the colours red, blue and yellow. They can withstand a maximum voltage of 600 volts and a maximum temperature of 105 °C. Their function is based on the principle of a U-element: the conductors to be connected are fed into the connector without having to be stripped beforehand. By applying light pressure with the Scotchlok pliers, the U-shaped elements remove the wire insulation, increase the contact surface and establish contact with the conductor. The spring-loaded U-element encloses the individual conductors and ensures a mechanically strong, vibration-proof, electrically perfect and permanent connection. The Scotchlok connectors are all UL and C.S.A. listed.

Vitrified bonded grinding discs are mainly used in workshops and repair shops. They are particularly versatile for grinding and sharpening various components. The harmonised specifications enable a wide range of applications from coarse to fine grinding. These discs are supplied in retailer-friendly packaging for space-saving storage.
