Variants
A high-performance, profiled, white permanent marking film specially developed for permanent use on motorways and other roads where optimum safety and unsurpassed durability are required. It offers good luminosity by day and night, retroreflection, good grip and long-lasting white colour. This increases its useful life, reducing road maintenance costs while keeping drivers safe. Abrasion-resistant ceramic beads and grip particles are embedded in a long-lasting polyurethane top layer. The result is a film that offers increased visibility and safety even in wet conditions. The marking film is easy to handle and can be easily cut to size using a cutter or mechanical cutter. Independent tests prove that the A380ESD film fulfils all the performance requirements of the EN1436 standard.
- Abrasion-resistant ceramic beads and anti-slip particles are embedded in a durable polyurethane top layer. The result is a film that offers increased visibility and safety even in wet conditions.
- The profiled surface protects the optical properties and presents itself to traffic as an almost vertical surface. This maximises reflectivity and improves visibility, even at night on wet roads.
- Flexible, elastic polymer layer made from high-quality polymer substances, pigments and glass beads
- Enables long-term use thanks to the use of an improved pressure-sensitive adhesive
- Manufactured in a controlled environment
- this reduces dependence on unpredictable weather conditions and restrictions on installation dates, adding to safety and quality over time.
- Reduces overall maintenance/replacement costs over the life of the road. Significantly reduces the frequency of road closures - a major benefit in today's traffic environment where mobility counts.
- The latest measurements have shown that the A380 permanent road marking film still fulfils the minimum requirements in wet and dry conditions even after 8 years.
- Approval by several independent testing institutes in Europe. Independent tests prove that the A380 film fulfils all the performance requirements of the EN1436 standard.
