The S-757 premium reusable lightweight bonnet is a head piece for the 3M Versaflo respiratory protection system. It covers the head, face, neck and shoulders and offers eye and face protection in accordance with EN166 (protection against liquid splashes and flying particles with low impact energy). The premium reusable lightweight bonnet is characterised by its special material, which absorbs paint mist and thus reduces the risk of the paint beading off the wearer and falling onto the workpiece. The textile material is also coated on the inside to prevent paint from getting onto skin or clothing. The lightweight bonnet has a double neck seal design. The inner part of the neck seal is tucked into the top of the shirt or protective suit. This allows excess air to be channelled over the entire body, providing additional comfort. The lightweight bonnet is an extremely cost-effective solution for environments with high disposal rates: When worn, only the contaminated outer bonnet is replaced, while the headgear and air supply can continue to be used. The rigid design of the headband ensures a uniform air supply. Another plus is that it can be adjusted from the outside so that the wearer can regulate the air distribution to suit their personal comfort requirements. A simple turn of the outer knob is all it takes for the wearer to direct the airflow away from the back of the head and towards the temples, face and visor. The bracket has separate adjustment options for head height and head circumference, allowing comfortable, customised adjustment to a wide range of head shapes. The soft comfort pad can be used to further improve the fit so that the bonnet fits even more wearers perfectly.
