A GMG system (closed mixing and pouring) is used when pouring the 3M Scotchcast 1402 FR casting resin, which is also included in the scope of delivery and is flame-retardant. This practically eliminates contact with the casting resin during processing. The transparent mixing bag guarantees visual control of the mixing process. After use, the mixing bag can be disposed of with the cured casting resin residue as normal household waste. Disposal as hazardous waste is not necessary. The extremely age-resistant heat-shrink tubing is UV-resistant and resistant to many chemical influences. It can be used in a temperature range of -55 °C to +135 °C. The heat-shrink tubing is RoHS-compliant and all variants except the transparent one are self-extinguishing.
