The 3M adhesive films 9471 LE and 9472 LE are double-sided, highly transparent, clear adhesive tapes made from modified acrylate adhesive. They are characterised by their high initial tack and very high shear strength. The specially formulated adhesive enables good adhesion to low-energy materials such as PE, PP and powder coatings. Even with low contact pressure, a high initial tack is achieved on most surfaces. As the adhesive film has no fibre reinforcement, the clear, transparent adhesive tape is ideal for inconspicuous bonding of transparent materials.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. 3M Scotch-Weld PR 1500 is a high viscosity cyanoacrylate adhesive for high strength bonding of plastics such as ABS, PA, PC and PVC as well as elastomers such as EPDM, rubber and SBR.
