The F 9460 PC transfer adhesive tape from the 3M 100MP adhesive series is one of the high-performance products in the VHB high-performance bonding system. It is a film of pure acrylate adhesive, which has excellent adhesive strength on smooth to slightly porous surfaces. It is therefore particularly suitable for use in the automotive and aviation industries. It is characterised by excellent resistance to physical, chemical and mechanical influences. Its high shear strength as well as its very good resistance to ageing make the adhesive tape an ideal solution for long-term applications. It can withstand temperatures of up to +260 °C for short periods and its functionality is hardly impaired even after exposure to chemicals or solvents. The adhesive film therefore guarantees high process reliability even under extreme loads.

The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. 99015LVC is a double-sided adhesive tape with a non-woven paper backing and low VOC and FOG values that has been specially developed for use in vehicle interiors. It can be used to bond common foam materials such as PU ester foams and EPDM as well as other high and low energy substrates. The non-woven paper backing offers dimensional stability during lamination, easy handling during processing and excellent die-cutting properties. The tape is stronger than conventional transfer tapes, has a short-term temperature resistance of up to 200 °C and is suitable for most demanding applications. The tape has been specially developed to meet the requirements of vehicle manufacturers and suppliers with regard to the JAMA and VDA-278 standard.
