Uncomplicated permanent bonding for everyday applications Our 3M VHB RP+ tapes are made from a tough acrylic adhesive with viscoelastic properties. This is a high-performance double-sided adhesive tape with extremely high adhesion to various materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised steel, composites, plastics, acrylate, polycarbonate and ABS. These mounting tapes impress with their excellent shear strength, conformability, adhesion and temperature resistance. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
