For degreasing, cleaning and preparing parts to be joined before bonding. Ideal for use on metals, many plastics and coloured surfaces. The cleaner is a mixture of isopropaneinl and distilled water (70:30). The surface should be checked for compatibility before use.

3M Surface Cleaner 08986, Isopropanol, Surface Cleaner, 1 litre bottle

The 3M VHB surface cleaner is used for degreasing, cleaning and preparing parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The VHB surface cleaner consists of a special mixture of isopropanol and distilled water. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and use only clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. Make sure that the surfaces are completely dry before you start bonding. For further information, please refer to the safety data sheet, which we will be happy to send you on request at .
