3M VHB high-performance adhesive tapes are double-sided adhesive tapes made of closed-cell acrylate adhesive. They offer good adaptability to the surfaces to be bonded. Smooth or structured surfaces can be bonded over the entire surface without tension. Ideally suited for a variety of materials with high surface energy, such as metals, plastics or glass. This adhesive has been specially developed for use at high temperatures and prior to powder coating.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. S-K-S 4224 protects sensitive surfaces from soiling, scratches, tool marks etc. during processing, storage, transport, assembly, ... This black and white 100μm protective film was developed fthis black and white 100 μm protective film was developed for outdoor use and is particularly suitable for heavy processing and deformation of stainless steel and aluminium (e.g. bending, folding, profiling) as well as for the protection of window sills and building profiles (windows/doors). Due to its high adhesive strength, the protective film is also very suitable for laser cutting stainless steel. The natural rubber adhesive offers a particularly wide range of applications on a wide variety of matt and textured surfaces. The white upper side allows easy labelling/marking. In many cases, the PE film acts as a lubricant and can therefore extend the service life of tools. The surface protection film is not suitable for protecting copper and brass.
