The 3M VHB adhesive tape 4951 belongs to the 4951 product family of 3M VHB adhesive tapes. These tapes use an adhesive suitable for processing at low temperatures (down to 0 °C). The 3M VHB adhesive tape 4951 has a solid foam core. Use it for metal and glass as well as paints and plastics with high surface energy. Suitable for bonding stiffening elements, panels, decorative material and mouldings, for example.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
