The water contact indicator tape is a simple way to determine whether water has penetrated sensitive electronic components.

Properties

Additional film layer, printable with thermal transfer, flexo or screen printing, with excellent ink absorption
The top film layer also protects against contamination and moisture during processing.
The paper backing is highly absorbent and transports water to enable display

Advantages

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
