3M warning marking 823i is an impact-resistant, metallised, flexible warning marking and is suitable for use on painted, clean, smooth, non-porous and weather-resistant surfaces. 3M warning marking 823i for retroreflective vehicle markings is equipped with 3M Controltac technology, which enables special positioning when applying the film. The adhesive system acts as a mechanical spacer to the substrate. 3M Controltac is effective within a wide temperature range. This simplifies the installation of the film on large-format surfaces. 3M Comply is an adhesive technology that uses air channels in the adhesive to enable the film to be applied quickly, easily and without bubbles.

Scotchcast casting resin no. 40 is a two-component polyurethane cable resin. It cures completely at room temperature and also in water due to its hydrophobic properties. It generates only a low exothermic reaction temperature. Due to its excellent hydrolytic stability, the premium resin is also suitable for long-term underwater applications. It adheres well to both metal and various plastics and is ideal for insulation in the low-voltage range as well as for sealing and mechanical protection in the low- and medium-voltage range. The practical two-chamber bag contains coordinated quantities of resin and hardener, which can be combined into a homogeneous mass by simply tearing open the separating seam and then kneading. The transparency of the bag allows visual inspection during mixing. The GMG system (closed mixing and moulding) virtually eliminates contact with casting resin during processing. After casting, the mixing bag with the cured casting resin residue can simply be disposed of with normal household waste. Disposal as hazardous waste is not necessary.
