tesa 60400 is a bio-based packaging tape suitable for medium-weight packaging applications (15 - 30 kg). Polylactic acid, also known as PLA, was chosen as the carrier material for this tape. PLA is made from 100% renewable raw materials such as corn starch, tapioca roots or sugar cane. The system adhesive used for this tape is a natural rubber with a natural-based resin. Thanks to the intelligent selection of raw materials and outstanding design, tesa 60400 is produced with a 98% biocarbon content and consequently with a reduced carbon footprint. tesakrepp 4330 is a wet-strength and particularly heat-resistant paper masking tape with high tear resistance. The slightly creped, thin backing enables particularly flat paint edges. The paint and filler adhesion is excellent.

The compact disc can be quickly and easily attached to a Roloc backing pad (available separately), which is connected to the power tool. Roloc quick-change systems contribute to an overall increase in productivity, as the compact disc can be attached to the tool very quickly.
