This hook and loop system was developed for work areas where discs with a self-adhesive backing can be contaminated by dust, dirt or particles in the air. Hookit sanding discs attach firmly to a velcro backing pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander and can be removed cleanly and easily and reused throughout the life of the abrasive.

The 3M adhesive marking tape 471F is a soft PVC adhesive tape for various applications. It is suitable for covering and sealing all surfaces and containers, including round and irregularly shaped ones, for interior decoration, as hazard marking, for labelling playing fields and areas and for general marking and protection. The film is very conformable, abrasion-resistant and resistant to many solvents except ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons and esters.

3M Tartan Filament Adhesive Tape 8954 is a longitudinally and cross-reinforced standard filament adhesive tape with a ScotchPro polypropylene film backing and a synthetic rubber adhesive. The glass fibre reinforcement in the longitudinal direction significantly increases the tear resistance of the tape. The tape is particularly suitable for bonding heavy cardboard packaging and as a securing and bundling tape. Once applied, the adhesive tape retains its functionality at all temperatures to which a package is normally exposed during transport and storage. It is ideal for hazardous goods transport packaging and is characterised by its high breaking load (1350 N / 100 mm) and elongation at break (10).
