The 3M Organic Vapor High Sampling Rate Monitor 3501+ is a cost-effective and convenient way to perform personal air sampling for low concentrations of organic vapours and to measure short-term exposure limits (STELs). The device is easy to use - you can hang it on your shirt lapel, collar or pocket without interfering with your work. You don't need batteries, hoses or pumps to take air samples with the analyser. Knowing the specific contaminant and exposure levels is important to determine the appropriate respirator and cartridge for your work environment. This information also helps in estimating the service life of selected 3M cartridges. The 3M High Sampling Rate Organic Vapour Monitor 3501+ uses diffusion instead of a pump to collect an air sample with an accuracy of +/-25% at a 95% confidence level for many organic vapours in the workplace, both personal and area samples. The device has 562 sampling ports to achieve a high sampling rate and is designed for the detection of organic vapours at low concentrations or for short term sampling (STEL) when low detection limits are important. Due to the high sampling rate, this monitor may exceed capacity at high concentrations or long sampling times.
