The 3M Cubitron 3 Cut & Grind abrasive disc is a versatile solution that can be used as both a roughing and cutting disc - ideal for cutting, fillet grinding, gouging and more. Unlike other grinding products that are designed for just one task, this disc can tackle multiple challenges thanks to a flat, reinforced inner surface that can shape or grind objects and a thin outer edge that can be used to make perpendicular cuts and gouges. This design eliminates the need for multiple abrasives and can help maximise production. The 3M Cubitron 3 Cut & Grind abrasive disc utilises the re-engineered 3M Precision Shaped Grain, which uses proprietary micro-fragments of molecular bond technology. Their structure is designed so that they break continuously during the grinding process and always form many sharp cutting edges. These smooth, sharp edges help to create an abrasive that cuts faster, grinds cooler and lasts much longer than conventional abrasives. 3M Cubitron high performance abrasives are designed for professionals who demand more from their equipment. Get a fast and even cut for numerous applications with the 3M Silver cutting disc. It cuts quickly through metal tubes, sleeves, flat sheets and other workpieces. The disc contains our precision grain, which has continuously sharp cutting edges, so it cuts through the material rather than scraping or ploughing through it like conventional abrasive grains. This results in a significantly longer service life than conventional abrasives with ceramic grit and a consistently stable high cutting rate over the service life. The disc must be used with an angle grinder or cut-off machine (available separately) and should always be used with a protective cover for safety reasons. The maximum speed of the disc must be greater than or equal to the maximum speed of the angle grinder.
