It is highly resistant to moisture and changing weather conditions. It is a flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and adaptable in application. 3M Temflex 165 tape offers excellent mechanical protection with minimal bulk. It is UL, CSA and VDE certified, approved according to standard IEC 60454-3-1. 3M Temflex 165 vinyl insulating tape is based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and/or its copolymers and has a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive. The tape is 0.15 mm thick, UL listed and labelled as "flame retardant and cold resistant" according to UL standard 510. The tape can be applied at temperatures from 0 °C to 38 °C without affecting its physical properties. It is classified for indoor and outdoor use and is compatible with synthetic cable insulation, sheathing and bonding materials.

The hardness of the ceramic material in combination with the self-sharpening grain extends the service life and work can be carried out more quickly without compromising the desired smooth result or the adjustable processing with Scotch-Brite abrasive discs. The PRO compact discs for deburring and finishing are ideal for OEM and pipework renovation and maintenance. These robust high-performance grinding discs reliably remove dirt, corrosion deposits and other contaminants without stressing or impairing the thread form. This means that pipework can be put back into operation more quickly.

For manual use on sanding blocks, particularly suitable on soft contact wheels up to 40 Shore or on a free belt, after pre-grinding P080 - P120.
