Especially in combination with 3M Acrylic Foam double-sided adhesive tapes, Scotchmount 4298UV adhesion promoter / primer is suitable for a variety of plastic types used in automotive construction, in particular it often produces excellent results on low-energy surfaces. Scotchmount Primer 4298UV is suitable for priming the following substrates: PP/EPDM, EPDM, TPE, PE, PP, PET, ABS, TPO, PC, GRP, CFRP, EVA or automotive paints. This primer is not suitable for PVC.

3M PX5011 is a medium grey, double-sided acrylic foam tape with very good initial and excellent final tack for low and medium energy surfaces. The ZX adhesive - which is anchored on both sides of the tape - can be used without adhesion promoters or surface pre-treatments on difficult-to-bond plastics such as PP/EPDM and on medium-energy plastics such as ABS and automotive paints. The 4411 is a single-sided adhesive tape that has been specially developed for demanding sealing applications. The backing consists of an abrasion-resistant ionomer film, which is characterised by extreme flexibility despite its high robustness. Thanks to the flowing adhesive, the 4411 has excellent sealing properties and reliably compensates for unevenness on surfaces.
