3M 5451 and 5453 are PTFE-coated glass fibre adhesive tapes with a resilient silicone adhesive. These adhesive tapes have very good sliding properties, a very good non-stick effect and a high thermal and mechanical load capacity. Adhesive tape for coating plastic film welding equipment and as a sliding coating with high mechanical strength and an adhesive-repellent surface.
Properties
Thicker version of the 3M 5451
Advantages
Combines the sliding properties of PTFE with the mechanical strength and temperature resistance of glass fibre
Product benefits
Works where other adhesive tapes give up
Field of application
Coating of surfaces where sliding properties, high thermal, chemical and mechanical resistance are required
On conveyor and transport rollers in baking systems or in packaging systems and plastic film sealers
As we make up our own adhesive tapes (cut to size), there may be a tolerance of 1-2 mm on the first roll.

Non-woven fibre hand material for cleaning, deburring, finishing and sanding surfaces in the metal, wood, plastic and other industrial and commercial sectors.
The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. Make sure that the surfaces are completely dry before you start bonding. For further information, please refer to the safety data sheet, which we will be happy to send you on request to . The product is intended for industrial / professional use only.
S-K-S lime-based industrial cleaner removes residues of most dried and non-chemically curing adhesives and sealants, adhesive tapes and films, stickers and labels as well as greasy, oily dirt, tar residues and rubber abrasion. The non-corrosive product gently cleans even stubborn dirt from (un)coated and painted metals, aluminium alloys, stainless steel, glass and ceramics as well as plastics such as ABS, PC, PE, PMMA, PP, PVC, etc. S-K-S is also suitable for degreasing and cleaning equipment and work areas. The surface should be checked for compatibility before use
For degreasing, cleaning and preparing parts to be joined before bonding. Ideal for use on metals, many plastics and coloured surfaces. The cleaner is a mixture of isopropaneinl and distilled water (70:30). The surface should be checked for compatibility before use.
The 3M HDT-A heat-shrinkable tubing is a thick-walled heat-shrinkable tubing made from modified, radiation-crosslinked polyolefin. It is suitable for use on all plastic and earth cables for both outdoor and underground installations. It is used to insulate and seal all types of connections, especially as an outer conduit for control cable fittings. It has an adhesive coating on the inner wall for better sealing. The extremely age-resistant heat-shrink tubing is UV-resistant and resistant to many chemical influences. Its shrink ratio is four to one and it can be used in a temperature range from -55 °C to +130 °C. It is self-extinguishing and complies with the Lloyds Register of Shipping MIL-I-23053/15 test standard.
3M HVLP high-performance nozzle heads for gravity feed cups offer first-class spraying performance for coatings such as lacquers, clear coats and top coats. Replaceable nozzles have been specially developed for gravity feed applications. These are used with the 3M high performance spray gun system and the 3M PPS 2.0 paint processing system and provide spray performance comparable to a brand new unit every time the nozzle is changed.
What makes the 3M high-performance spray gun system so unique is the technology of the interchangeable quick-change nozzles. Since paints and coatings only pass through the nozzle head and not the entire body of the spray gun, you get the performance of a brand new spray gun every time you replace the nozzle. You get the spray pattern, atomisation and application efficiency of a premium paint spray gun, ensuring more consistent spray performance every day with every application. The 3M HVLP high performance nozzle heads for flow cups are available in 0.9, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 sizes for a wide range of industrial and automotive coatings. These include high-viscosity coatings, sprayable levelling compounds, thick-film fillers, primers, sealants, 1K top coats, solvent-based and water-based paints and clear coats. The interchangeable nozzles are designed exclusively for the 3M PPS 2.0 paint processing system, which reduces material waste, dirt and contamination compared to conventional metal paint cup systems. Soaking the spray gun in solvent is now a thing of the past. Our integrated complete system enables you to clean more intelligently. The nozzle heads are attached to the needle of the 3M™ high-performance spray gun and securely mounted with a specially designed locking ring. No additional tools are required for replacement. Simply remove the nozzle from the spray gun and either clean the fluid tip or replace the nozzle to get your spray gun working like new again.
In foundries and mould making, ceramic mounted points are often the only way to achieve improved surface results in hard-to-reach areas. PREMIUM mounted points from TYROLIT offer the longest possible service life, even for hardened steels. These tools also offer an optimum balance between clamping power and the surface finish to be achieved. Maximum working speed: 50 m/s
The Scotch-Brite EXL pressed compact disc XL-UW is a pressed fibre fleece material that combines the best finishing properties with aggressiveness and a long service life. Thanks to its spring effect and flexibility, the material adapts ideally to any workpiece, does not change the geometry of the workpiece and also ensures reduced vibrations and improved user ergonomics during the application process.
