3M Dual Lock is a self-adhesive, flexible pressure seal in roll form. The patented system consists of black polyolefin strips with hemispherical heads on a short stem. Pressing them together creates a firm but removable connection. Unlike conventional fastening systems such as screws or rivets, no holes are required which would detract from the visual appearance of the surface. The acrylic adhesive with high temperature resistance is suitable for various substrates, e.g. high- and low-energy plastics, metals and powder coatings.

The compact disc can be quickly and easily attached to a Roloc backing pad (available separately), which is connected to the power tool. Roloc quick-change systems contribute to an overall increase in productivity, as the compact disc can be attached to the tool very quickly. Versatile indoor and outdoor applications Pressed compact discs differ from wound compact discs, which are wrapped around a core, in their layer structure: The open fleece is cured and compressed for added strength and durability. Due to the unique manufacturing process, compressed compact discs are well suited for processing edges and contours. We recommend this compact disc together with the 3M disc sander (sold separately) and the 3M Roloc + holder (sold separately). These robust compact discs are ideal for maintenance work.
