The 9332+Gen3 offers safety and comfort in the 3rd generation. The construction of the disc with a stiff fibre backing and a strong resin bond ensures durability and tear resistance, so that more parts can be machined per disc and fewer overall disc changes are required when combined with a fast cutting abrasive grain. Cubitron II is a further development of the previous Cubitron abrasive. Its secret lies in the unusual shape and arrangement of the abrasive grains: the individual ceramic grains are precisely moulded, uniform in size, arranged vertically and have the shape of small triangles. They are applied evenly, but randomly distributed, so that the typical grinding pattern of a fibre disc can be found. The triangular discs of CUBITRON II form a very sharp grinding surface with unprecedented stock removal rates and service life. The 3M polyester film 1350-T-1 is a carrier consisting of three layers of polyester film with a coating of acrylate adhesive. Due to the thicker backing material, its insulation performance is significantly stronger. While the adhesive is particularly resistant to solvents and "flagging", the carrier is characterised by very high tear and abrasion resistance.
