Newly developed for your requirements. Introducing the next step in surface finishing technologies: Scotch-Brite precision non-woven discs. This new addition to the Scotch-Brite range promises the consistency you have come to expect, with faster stock removal and longer abrasive life. By combining two outstanding 3M technologies - fleece and the 3M precision-moulded ceramic grain - you can now achieve an ideal finish even faster. To help you work even more efficiently, these discs are available in brighter, more vibrant colours to make them easier to distinguish. In addition, the range of grits has been extended to include fine and extra coarse versions, giving you an even wider choice of solutions for your abrasive needs.

Improve your work processes. These high quality general purpose abrasive discs are designed to optimise the steps involved in surface finishing, including cleaning, blending, deburring and finishing. Typical substrates include aluminium and soft metals, carbon steel and stainless steel. Applications range from the removal of coatings and corrosion to the finishing and post-processing of castings.

Properties

The newly formulated multi-purpose discs feature the 3M precision-moulded grain incorporated into the fleece, which means that the Scotch-Brite product range is characterised by even better productivity and longer service life.
The 3M precision-moulded grit is a triangular-shaped ceramic abrasive grit with sharp, angular structures that continuously break off during the sanding process, constantly forming new, sharp cutting edges.
Available in the grit sizes VFN, FIN, MED, CRS and XCRS for work with low contact pressure on typical substrates such as aluminium, soft metals, carbon steel and stainless steel.

The 3M application device for the Dynamic Mixing System (DMS) is a pneumatic application device for putty for repairing dents and cracks in steel, SMC or fibreglass materials. Together with the associated dynamic mixing nozzles, it only mixes the special DMS filler at the moment of application. This allows the precise dosing of the required amount of filler directly on the repair object, keeping repair areas small and completely eliminating excess material due to excessive mixing. The application device also significantly reduces cleaning work, as you do not need a mixing bowl or spatula. Thanks to the integrated residual quantity indicator, you always know when a new cartridge needs to be filled, so that a smooth workflow is always guaranteed.

3M Lub-I cable lubricant, 0.95 l

The 3M cable lubricant Lub-P is especially suitable for use in the energy supply and industrial sectors. Due to its special consistency, it forms a secure lubricating film on the cable sheath, even on heavy cables. It can be applied either by hand or by injection or pumping. Lub-P facilitates the pulling through and laying of cables and wires by reducing friction. Signs of wear are significantly reduced - both on the cables and on the equipment used. This effectively prevents cable sheath damage and also prevents cables from becoming tangled or getting stuck. It is therefore particularly recommended for long and winding cable runs. The transparent, water-based cable lubricant can be wiped off easily and cleanly if necessary. Neither silicone nor grease residues make it difficult to work on the cables. In addition, it does not cause irreversible stains on clothing, equipment or surroundings. Lub-P dries out very slowly and is therefore very economical. It leaves only a minimal residue as it contains less than 5.5 per cent solid components. This means that the cables do not stick together or to other cables, which facilitates their movement. It is suitable for high-performance cables and regular 600 V cables, as well as for most cable materials, including polyethylene and semi-cons. It is also compatible with semi-conductive materials. This means that, unlike wax or hydrocarbon based lubricants, it does not affect the volume resistance of medium and high voltage cable sheaths or the insulation layer. Lub-P is extremely temperature-stable and non-flammable. It therefore maintains the flame-retardant and self-extinguishing properties of the cable.
