When sharpening solid carbide or carbide-tipped tools, only discs with silicon carbide specifications should be used. Due to their special grain shape, you will achieve good results even on very hard workpieces. This disc can also be used for cast iron. A reduction ring set is already included in the packaging and can also be reordered.

It is made of extremely durable fibres that can be used aggressively on even the toughest surfaces without tearing or disintegrating. The 7440 hand pads are cleaner and more durable than steel wool and deliver similar results to Class 4 steel wool without rusting or creating fine metal chips.
