For heavy-duty grinding applications such as bevelling/chamfering, slag/roll scale removal, weld seam and edge finishing on a variety of metals, the 3M Silver rough grinding wheel is ideal. These abrasive discs contain our precision-formed abrasive grain, which has continuously sharp cutting edges so that it cuts through the material and does not scrape or plough through the material as with conventional abrasive grains. This results in a significantly longer service life than conventional grinding discs with ceramic grain and a consistently high removal rate over the service life. Use grinding discs together with suitable tools and accessories.
