The 3M hook tape/loop tape consists of two components whose connection to each other can be re-locked several thousand times if required. One component has small hooks, the other has flexible loops that are joined together by applying light pressure. This enables a controllable, concealed application connection system for removable fastening. Areas of application for the product include the automotive and advertising sectors. The acrylic adhesive is suitable for many substrates, e.g. high- and low-energy plastics, metals and powder coatings.

3M Dual Lock Thin is a self-adhesive, flexible pressure seal in roll form. It consists of transparent polypropylene strips with mushroom-shaped heads. The connection is achieved by simply pressing two of these elements together, whereby the mushroom-shaped protrusions snap into each other. Dual Lock Thin is thinner and therefore more flexible than other press fasteners. Its performance lies between the normal Dual Lock and Scotchmate. Dual Lock SJ 4570, thin, flexible pressure lock is self-adhesive with a modified acrylic adhesive. This modified acrylic adhesive is suitable for bonding to a wide range of surfaces: Metals, glass, wood and many plasticiser-free plastics such as ABS, polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, polystyrene, rigid PVC and powder-coated surfaces.

S-K-S 551 Surface cleaner isopropanol 99.9% in a spray can 500ml

The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. Make sure that the surfaces are completely dry before you start bonding. For further information, please refer to the safety data sheet, which we will be happy to send you on request to .
